The formation of limestone is normal and does not depend on the malfunction of the shower head but on the deposit of water that stagnates in the shower head at the end of the shower.

This inconvenience can occur more or less frequently depending on the hardness of the water, on the number of soluble salts and any metals that characterize it.

For this reason, it is advisable to carry out a proper routine cleaning to remove the limescale particles that form on the surface and obstruct the spray nozzles of the shower head.

The Sassi Srl shower heads are equipped with an inspectable water filter, with a central screw that allows it to be easily removed so as to permit a careful cleaning to prevent the formation of limescale.

In the Sassi Srl models equipped with the anti-limescale system, the formation of the same is reduced, however, it is still essential to clean the spray nozzles often to prevent them from obstructing with limescale deposits that may hinder the direction of the water jet.

The suggestion of Sassi Piero Srl is to keep the shower head tilted, once the use is finished, in order to leak the excess water and reduce the formation of limestone.
